Abstract
Melissa of our very own NowAge Travel offers us her favorite landmarks in Salem as a do-it-yourself walking tour! So much of the complex history of the tragic 1692 Witch Trials is buried right under the surface, and this guide is meant to help you start digging into some of those layers yourself.
The 13 main stops are all within a 2 mile walking radius in the heart of downtown. They include historic sites related to The Trials, present-day attractions, and shops that have paved Salem's path to becoming "Witch City". You'll also find a list of 8 bonus sites, which are a bit of a walk but perfect for adventurers, bikers, or motorists. (taken from Hauswitch website)
